What this planner stores on your device today, what it will store once advertising is live, and how to change your mind.

The position today
This planner uses strictly necessary storage only. There are no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no social media widgets. Your financial figures are never written to a cookie or to browser storage — they live in the page’s memory for the session and disappear when you refresh or close it.
What is stored, and why

You can delete the stored choice at any time through your browser settings; the consent banner will then ask you again on your next visit.
Advertising, once it is live
The planner is intended to be free to use and funded by advertising. When advertising is activated we will use Google AdSense, in two labelled placements only: the homepage and the calculators hub. There will be no ads on a calculator page, next to its inputs, or next to your results.
Google and its partners may then set cookies and read device information to serve ads, limit how often you see the same ad, prevent fraud, and measure performance. Those technologies are not activated until you consent. Consent is handled through Google Consent Mode, which starts every non-essential category as denied and switches on only the categories you accept. Declining does not restrict any calculator: the whole planner keeps working.
Google requires UK and EEA publishers to use a consent management platform it has certified, so advertising will not be switched on until consent is collected through one. Until then, no advertising technology is loaded at all.
Our lawful basis for advertising cookies is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the cookie settings below or your browser controls.
Changing your choice
When the consent banner is active, use the button below to revisit your choice. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings, and you can manage personalised advertising through Google Ad Settings or Your Online Choices. Blocking strictly necessary storage may stop parts of the site from working.
