Privacy notice

How the free Asera Finance Planner handles your information. Written to be read, not skimmed: the important part is that your financial figures never leave your browser.

Who we are

This planner is provided by Asera Digital Assets, a business of Asera Group Ltd, company number 17376205, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 4th Floor Office, 205 Regent Street, London, W1B 4HB. For anything in this notice, including any privacy request, contact hello@aseragroup.co.uk. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Asera Group Ltd is the data controller. Data protection questions about this planner go to that same address.

The short version

There is no account and no sign-in. We do not ask for your name or email address.
Everything you type — income, spending, debts, goals, mortgage and pension figures — is calculated inside your browser and held only in the page’s memory for that session.
Your calculator inputs and financial figures are never sent to a server, never written to a database, and never processed by an AI service. Refreshing or closing the page clears them.
Files you export (PDF, CSV or a print view) are generated on your device and are never uploaded.

Information you enter into the calculators

Your inputs are processed in your browser only. They are not transmitted to us, stored by us, or shared with anyone. Because the figures exist only in the open page, no copy remains once you refresh, close the tab or navigate away. This means we cannot retrieve your figures for you, and we cannot see them if you ask us to.

Demo mode uses fictional example figures. It is kept entirely separate from anything you have entered and never mixes the two.

Exports and printing

PDF, CSV and print outputs are produced locally by your browser and saved by your device when you choose to save them. We never receive a copy. Exported files do contain your financial information, so store and share them as carefully as you would any other personal document.

Technical information when you visit

The site is hosted on the Base44 platform. To deliver a page and keep the service secure, the platform records the request itself: your IP address, browser type, the page requested, when it was requested, and any error it produced. It also collects performance and error telemetry so that faults can be found and fixed. These are technical and operational records. They contain none of your calculator inputs or financial figures, they are not combined with anything you type into the calculators, and they are not used to build a profile of you. The platform does not publish a retention period for them.

The platform stores app data in the United States by default. That statement is about app data, and it is worth being precise about what it does and does not cover here. This planner writes no app data and keeps no database of visitors, so no calculator inputs and no financial figures of yours are held on that storage: your figures exist only in the open page. We do not extend that to the request records and server logs described above, which the hosting platform keeps in order to serve and protect the site.

Session recordings are switched off for this planner, so your visit is not recorded.

Our lawful basis for this technical processing is our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website.

Cookies and local storage

We do not set analytics or advertising cookies today. The only thing we may store on your device is your cookie choice, once the consent banner is active. Full detail, including what changes when advertising starts, is in our Cookies and storage notice.

Advertising

The planner is intended to be free to use and funded by advertising. When that is live, we will show Google AdSense ads in two places only: the homepage and the calculators hub, clearly labelled as advertising. There will be no ads inside a calculator, next to its inputs, or next to your results.

No advertising is active at the time of writing. When it is, Google and its partners may set cookies and use device information to serve, measure and limit ads, and only after you consent. If you decline, you can still use every calculator in full. We do not pass your financial figures to any advertiser — they never leave your browser, so there is nothing to pass on.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information.
We do not profile you or make automated decisions about you.
We do not use your figures to market products or services to you.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we hold no password for you.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. In practice we hold almost nothing about visitors to this planner, but you can still exercise any of these rights by writing to hello@aseragroup.co.uk.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would ask you to contact us first so we can try to put it right.

Changes to this notice

If what we do changes — for example when advertising goes live — we will update this notice and change the version and date above before the change takes effect.
