Terms of use
The basis on which you may use the free Asera Finance Planner. Short, because the service is simple: it calculates, it does not advise.
Version 1.0 · Last updated 5 November 2026
Who we are and what these terms cover
This planner is operated by Asera Digital Assets, a business of Asera Group Ltd, company number 17376205, registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at 4th Floor Office, 205 Regent Street, London, W1B 4HB. Contact: hello@aseragroup.co.uk. By using the planner you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the planner. These terms cover the free planner only; Asera Group’s Public Website & APD Legal Pack (version 2.0, effective 10 October 2026) governs the group’s website and paid engagements and is published at aseragroup.co.uk/legal.
The service
The planner provides budgeting tools and illustrative calculators for UK personal finance: take-home pay, pension projections, mortgage and overpayment comparisons, savings and debt comparisons, self-employment and limited company estimates, and debt repayment comparisons. It is free to use, needs no account, and keeps your figures in your browser for the current session only.
It is not financial advice
Everything the planner produces is a calculation or an illustration. It is not financial, tax, investment, pension, mortgage or legal advice, and using it does not create any adviser-client relationship with Asera Group Ltd, and nothing here is a personal recommendation.
The calculators use simplified models. Where relevant they assume interest rates and contributions stay constant, apply annual rates monthly, and exclude fees, tax changes, inflation, new borrowing and lender-specific rules. Tax figures follow the tax year shown on each calculator and may be out of date for later years. Always confirm figures with your lender, HMRC, or a suitably qualified professional before making a decision.
Your figures and your session
Your inputs are held in the page’s memory for the session only. Refreshing, closing or navigating away clears them, and we cannot recover them for you. Exported files are generated on your device and are your responsibility — see the Privacy notice for detail.
Acceptable use
- Use the planner for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Do not scrape, copy, frame, resell or systematically extract the calculators or their underlying models, or use automated means to place load on the service.
- Do not attempt to interfere with the site, its security or other users’ access to it.
- Do not use the planner for anything unlawful.
Intellectual property
The planner, its design, text, calculators and underlying calculation models belong to Asera Group Ltd or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the planner in line with these terms. Results you generate for your own use are yours to keep and use.
Advertising keeps it free
The planner is intended to be funded by advertising shown in labelled placements on the homepage and the calculators hub. Advertising has no influence on any calculation, and we do not pass your figures to advertisers because they never leave your browser. Details are in the Cookies and storage notice.
Availability and changes
The planner is provided free of charge. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, suspend or withdraw features at any time. We aim to keep published tax rates current but do not guarantee that every figure reflects the latest rules.
Our liability to you
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing affects your statutory rights, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Subject to that, and because the planner provides free illustrative calculations rather than advice, we are not liable for any loss arising from decisions you take in reliance on a projection, for any inaccuracy in a calculator’s assumptions, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
Third-party links
Where we link to another website, we do not control it and are not responsible for its content or its handling of your information.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any right you have to bring a claim in your local courts as a consumer.
Complaints
If something about the planner is wrong or has caused you a problem, write to hello@aseragroup.co.uk and we will look at it. Please note this is separate from the group’s complaints and appeals procedure for its training courses, which forms part of its APD legal pack.
